Sky High

What an adventure...today we went to Sky High in Bellevue with some friends. It is this huge warehouse of trampolines that you can pay by the hour and go jump all over. The kids got tuckered out from all the jumping and they LOVED it! I was unsure if Bella would get right into it..but she did.

At first she did just little jumps...I LOVED that they had a little tot area for younger kids so she wouldn't get squished by all the other big kiddos!
Maddie and her friend Robyn...let me tell you these girls worked up a sweat after an hour of jumping!

Looking at all the other kids and trying to copy all of them...cute

She tried some new moves on the giant trampoline.....

Then her good buddy Ryker jumped around and helped her bounce...she laughed....a lot

Maddie leaping into the Foam Pit!

Bella have a moment with Ryker...again...cute as can be

Burning Cupcakes...Tacoma

On our Summer Bucket List we wanted to visit a new cupcake store in U Village...then my friend Katie had a great and fun idea... Go to some cupcake shops and rate them. So our first stop was Burning Cupcakes in Tacoma... Our scores (scale of 1 to 4) and thoughts are below:

Jenn and Maddie's Scores:

Frosting: 3

Cake: 2 1/2 (very dense but dry)

Ambiance: 2

Selection: 2

Staff: 4!!

Overall the flavor of the cupcake/frosting were good, but it was way too dry, like it had been sitting in fridge for too long. Staff was wonderful, they even gave Maddie a new cupcake to take home because she didn't like hers.

Katie's Scores:

Frosting:3

Cake: 4

Ambiance: 2
Selection: 2

Staff: 4

Where shall we go next????

Sunny Gig Harbor

This morning we went out to visit Grandma in Gig Harbor. We all just love walking in The Harbor...especially when the sun is shining! We walked, looked at the jellyfish and boats in the water, got ice cream cones, and visited a special favorite shop of Grandmas.....(hint is shown in the picture above)

Beautiful Gig Harbor

Grandma's new favorite store downtown....we left with three bags of goodies!

The girls sitting on the very British couch at the British store!

On the way out with LOTS of treats for lunch! Yummy meat pies and sausage rolls...a treat I haven't had in many many years!

Shot of the water

Zoo Day

Better late than never right? Last week we went to the Pt. Defiance Zoo. The girls loved it! Maddie brought a friend and so did Bella! I think this summer our zoo trips are one of our favorite things we have done. Bella was so into all of the animals! We fed the birds, watched the polar bears fight, teased a puffin with a peacock feather (it was hysterical), and played in the play area. I only wished the sun would come out....then it wouldn't have been so strange that Bella was playing in the water spouts!

Monday

Keeping the girls entertained....have to find something to do everyday! So today it was homemade bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and painting birdhouses (1.00 from Joannes).

We pulled out the Easter Sidewalk Chalk from the Easter Bunny

Then they drew and drew.....

"Two mama!"

Bella kept trying to "help" big sissy with her picture...

Then it was on to....painting these cute little birdhouses. I love finding cheap entertainment! It cost me a total of 4.00 to buy two birdhouses and two things of paint....Thank you Joannes!

Bella picked out all of her colors....she wanted to try them all

Maddie took her time picking out and then painting her design.....

The finished products....

Pop Pop Pop

While visiting the Cornucopia Days in Kent Grandma purchased a bubble gun for the girls to play with in the backyard....Bella is the first to try it out since "sissy" is still on her trip.....

"Grandma do it!"

"Pop, Pop"

"Running and running..."

"Boo Boo do it!" (whenever Bella wants to do something herself, this is what she says because we call her Boo Boo)

"Fun fun!"

Bella loves the bubble gun, playing in the sunshine, and hanging with Grandma!

Waterpark Blast

Today Mama and Grandma took Miss Bella up to Cornucopia Days in Kent. There was a water park there...what a BLAST!!!

She was very unsure at first...just standing on the sidelines...watching all the other kids

Decides to do a little dance....before going all the way in....

Still standing on the side....thinking a bit more about getting in

Laughing at everyone else in the water....

Then she saw another baby all the way in the water....so she decided she could brave the water too!

There she goes!!!!

WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!

Once she got in...she loved it so much she didn't want to get out! We will have to go back to this water park soon! When big sissy gets home from San Diego
